Camp

I CANNOT believe that it is already June 6th and grad camp starts tomorrow. Where has the time gone. Well, we have been insanely busy so that probably has something to do with it. Graduate ministry is something I am ridiculously passionate about and camp is just one aspect of how we minister to the kids. Camp is going to be 6 days this which is longer than we have ever done it.  I love our camps and I know our grads do too. They have been pretty much bouncing off the walls waiting for it to start.  We are really excited but it has been clear the satan does not want this to go well. I have felt in the past week some serious spiritual warfare. Recently, I was having a rough day and I literally could feel the tug of war between satan and God. We seem to always run into problems right before camp no matter how much we plan in advance. We found out yesterday that the camp we reserved had not been getting ready the right place for us and it was going to cost pretty much double than what we had originally talked about. They are a Christian camp but I assure are not acting very Christian. We were able to talk them down in price otherwise we were going to be forced to shorten our camp. So we had that fun issue, I have strep throat :(, and there are some other things... BUT we are really excited and I cannot wait to see how God  is going to show up in big ways and we must be doing something right if satan is bothering this much with us. Please please please pray for me/us. I want to be able to serve these kids and I do not plan on letting strep throat keep me down :) Thank you in advance for your prayers and for all of you who have so faithfully supported us. Here are some pics from today when some of our team when to the camp to drop off some of the stuff and pray over the camp.
Yes, that is 7 of us and a driver.
Showing off our muscles from unloading the truck(okay we just handed everyone the bags, but still)
I LOVE these people... So very thankful for their hearts.
Just some of the stuff.
The boys being boys :)
